About Sore Throats
You can ask a pharmacist to evaluate you.
After which they can share ways of relieving the pain and discomfort of a sore throat, such as:
Paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Medicated lozenges containing a local anaesthetic, antiseptic, or anti-inflammatory medicine.
Anaesthetic spray (although there's little proof they help).
A pharmacist can also provide other treatments if you need them, without you seeing a GP.

The three of us had our Private Flu Jabs with Lords Pharmacy. The pharmacist we saw was brilliant. Firstly he brought us in all together rather than one at a time which made it a more personable service. He was so welcoming and very funny too! Will definitely be going back for any further jabs.
