Meningitis B (MenB) Vaccination

Meningitis B (MenB) is a serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and septicaemia. It's most common in babies and young children, but can affect people of any age. 

This Service will incur a Appointment/Consultation Fee of £15.00 and the Cost of the Vaccination.

Symptoms
Symptoms fever, poor feeding, vomiting, lethargy, and purple rash.
Risks
Meningitis B can lead to long-term health problems such as: amputation, deafness, epilepsy, and difficulty with learning. 
Prevention
The MenB vaccine is routinely offered to babies at 8, 16 weeks, and 12 to 13 months. The vaccine helps protect babies against MenB.
